Bio

Rebecca Marris is an artist working primarily in photography. She received her BFA from the School of Art and Design at Alfred University in 2017, where she had a concentration in photography and a Minor in Philosophy. Her work analyzes “mind-popping,” or the brain’s ability to spontaneously recollect subconscious, partial memories as phrases or singular words. She is currently a printmaker at Light Work, a non-profit photography organization located in Syracuse, NY.
